Bridal Makeup Artist & Makeup Lessons In Beds & Bucks UK
About Me
I have been a makeup artist since the year 2000. I was originally a graphic designer but decided on a change of career when my first daughter was a baby. As I am a trained artist it was a side step to now paint on faces rather than a canvas! My first year startly slowly with a handful of weddings but now I work on between 70 and 100 weddings a year.
I love being a makeup artist as I really enjoy meeting people - now chatting is part of my job wheres in my other jobs I was always told off for chatting too much! The wedding industry is a wonderful industry to work in and I genuinely feel privileged to with a bride on her wedding morning ..its a very special moment being there to see her get into her wedding dress. I never lose sight of the fact that it's one of the biggest days in a bride's life.

I live in Leighton Buzzard, Bedfordshire with my partner Jim, my two daughters Amy and Emily and our dogs Teddy and Wilson.

As well as being a makeup artist I also volunteer for the cancer charity Look Good Feel Better I've volunteered for the charity for 11 years. I run virtual skincare and makeup workshops on zoom for a group of ladies going through cancer treatment. I teach them how to look after their skin and how do things like define their eyes if their lashes have fallen out and how to put their eyebrows back in if they've lost them due to chemotherapy. The ladies always really enjoy the sessions and finish feeling more confident about their appearance. They've also met and made friends with other ladies going through similar experiences and had a break from everything for a couple of hours. Look Good Feel Better is a wonderful charity that I feel very proud to work for!
